Who I am?

I am a 23 years old French girl, living in Berlin for more than one year now.

I have a masters degree in Intercultural Management, Communication and Event-planning, and I have worked in the field of personal & profesional coaching, regenerative business, embodiement, artistical and cultural scene.

I love to dance, connect with people at an emotional level, discover the beauties of the world and learn about mental health. I am convinced that everybody can dance. For me, dancing is about feeling the rhythm first, and translating it into movements. No needs to create and learn complicated choreography - even though I also enjoy it - but more importantly sensing our inner flow. My profesional goal is to become a dance therapist.

I also love to sing, play the ukulele, care for the people I love, spend time in Nature, try new sports, creative activities, new food, learn about the different traditions of the world, learn about how human we fonction. I sometimes draw Tarot cards for my friends and myself, as an open door to our inner world.

Experiences

I started my dance practices with modern jazz classes from 5 to 11 years old, and had fun creating her own choreographies, based on the songs’ lyrics, story and melody. Growing up, I joined different dance groups, going from hip hop to zumba. The performances and team spirit present developed my cooperation skills as well as some rigor and perseverance to achieve my goals.

Later, I explored the couple dance universe, starting with rock n’ roll, my parents being her first teachers. I continued with initiations to ballroom dances such as waltz, paso-doble, tango and cha cha cha. In my years living in Spain, I delved into the latino world of bachata, cumbia and salsa, learning at the same time about the historical background of the dances and their cultural importance.

When I arrived in Berlin in March 2023, I discovered the Brazilian couple dance called Forró and fell in love with the songs and the community. At the same time, I started to regularly practice a more conscious and spiritual dance called Biodanza. My curiosity for the relation between the mind and the body grew, as I explored deeper connections with myself and others while dancing.

In 2024, I joined a Musical theater amateur group in Berlin, and now keep on exploring cultures through practices such as Capoeira, Bollywood, or Hawaiian dances.

I have always loved to share my passion for dancing around me, in a playful and respectful way, and I am looking forward to keep on doing it during the next workshops! :)
