I’m Barbara, the artist behind ArcoIris Embroidery. I host handmade embroidery workshops where creativity meets activism. My focus is on repurposing old clothes and fabrics, transforming them into unique pieces that thread resistance against fast fashion. In a world dominated by mass production, I believe that each stitch is an act of defiance, a way to reclaim individuality and purpose.

Through my work, I explore themes of diversity, inclusion, feminism, and body positivity, using embroidery as a powerful tool to craft voices for change. My workshops encourage participants to express themselves, stitch by stitch, as they breathe new life into upcycled materials. Together, we create art that not only stands against waste but also champions self-expression and community transformation.
